1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you create an account, place an order, contact support, or sign up for emails, we collect things like your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details.
Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We don't see or store your full card number or banking details — we only receive a confirmation that the payment went through.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages you view, and how you interact with the Site. We use this for security, analytics, and improving the Site.
Reviews and content you submit. If you leave a review or post a comment, we collect what you write along with technical info (like IP address) for moderation and anti-spam purposes. Approved reviews may be visible publicly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- process, fulfill, and ship your orders;
- send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service-related notices;
- provide customer support and handle returns or claims;
- keep the Site secure, detect fraud, and prevent abuse;
- analyze how the Site is used and improve our products and service;
- send marketing emails about new products and promotions (only if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe anytime);
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us run our business — payment processors, shipping carriers, IT and hosting providers, email marketing platforms, analytics services, and customer support tools. They may only use your data to perform services for us.
- Manufacturing partners, when needed to fulfill made-to-order products. They receive only what's necessary to make and ship the order.
- Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our users.
- Business transfers — if OCEVIA is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Discreet Packaging and Shipping
We know privacy matters. All orders are shipped in plain, unbranded outer packaging with a neutral sender name. Nothing on the outside indicates the nature of the product inside. Shipping carriers receive only the information needed to deliver your order.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your cart and preferences, measure Site performance, and (with your consent where required) personalize content and ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner where available. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the Site.
We also use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and may use advertising pixels (such as Meta or TikTok) to understand traffic and measure ad performance. These providers have their own privacy practices.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there's no industry standard for how to respond, we currently don't respond to them, but we honor opt-out choices made through our cookie banner or the rights described in Section 7.
6. Marketing Emails
If you've opted in, we may send you promotional emails. Every email has an "unsubscribe" link, and you can opt out at any time. You'll still receive transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, etc.) even after unsubscribing.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your personal information;
- opt out of marketing communications;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising (we don't sell data, but where applicable, you can confirm this preference);
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at service@oceviadoll.com with your request and enough information for us to identify your account. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the rights listed above, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the meaning of California law without your consent. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
For residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws: You have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and opt-out as described above. You may appeal a denial of your request by replying to our response email.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy — typically the life of your account, plus as long as required to handle returns, comply with tax and accounting rules (usually 7 years under Hong Kong law), resolve disputes, and meet other legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing service@oceviadoll.com.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricted internal access, and vetted service providers. That said, no online system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
OCEVIA is based in Hong Kong, and our service providers may be located in the United States, Mainland China, the European Union, or other regions. When we transfer your information across borders, we take steps to make sure it receives appropriate protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is strictly for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from a minor, we'll delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at service@oceviadoll.com.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or include embedded content from third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the Site or by email where appropriate. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
